As an organization dedicated to global exchange, trade relationships and education, the ITA would like to stress our commitment to the re-arranged Tube Düsseldorf 2023 which will now be held in December this year—whilst ensuring full compliance with “strict new hygiene and social distancing rules” at the trade fair grounds.
Our ITA team—at Booth 9D75—will host many of the popular features, such as the Students’ Day. Others, such as the famous Booth Party and this year’s AGM, will have alternative ‘virtual’ venues. Details will be made known as soon as they are available.
Just a note on the best ways of staying in touch despite restrictions imposed by the COVID-19 pandemic. Like most others, we switched to remote working conditions some time ago and are currently still working from our home offices.
This means that our office premises are unmanned, and communication with us works best via phone and email. Please continue to refrain—as far as possible—from trying to contact us via fax or through the mail, as there is a good chance that letters and faxes won’t reach us.
To keep the channels of communication open and maintain our conversations with our members, we provide video and teleconference options wherever possible and are currently setting up a series of web conferences.
Each web conference will have a central theme and will take place on the Zoom cloud platform. The first of the series (July 16, 2023) is an overview of how the industry’s main markets have fared, i.e. the OCTG and automotive markets, the mechanical and the construction industries.
We are doing our best to ensure that the day-to-day running of the Association continues uninterrupted and business is kept ticking over smoothly.

We are globally active, with European, North American, Asia-Pacific and Indian Management Boards.
We are originator and industry partner to Messe Düsseldorf for the largest tube and pipe shows.
We regularly participate in Tube shows with our own ITA stand

We publish the ITAtube Journal for market, business and marketing communications three to four times a year.
We host international and regional conferences and workshops for the tube industry - to foster knowledge exchange and networking.
Bearing in mind the three E’s – excellence, exchange, education – we actively seek cooperation with renowned research institutes, universities and organisations worldwide.
We have established awards for innovation (presentations) and for talented young professionals.
We have compiled a catalogue of technical papers which are available to our members.
